New car brands arriving in Europe are opening their new dealers in front of existing Volkswagen dealerships. A clever tactic to try to attract our customers by making an impact with their most competitive prices right at the point of sale.
The Solution
These new brands are setting up their dealerships so very close to ours that it allowed us to come up with a clever solution to turn this to our advantage: simply by flipping our messages and displaying them upside down in our shop windows, this meant they appeared the right way up in our competitors’ windows. In this way, we turned all their dealerships into Volkswagen out-of-home advertising. A new type of media had just been born.
